Zenfix: A Display Font That Earns Its Space
Designer-to-Designer Practical Checks
- Test Zenfix in pure black and white—no color tricks masking poor contrast or uneven stroke balance.
- Print it at actual size on your intended substrate: label stock, fabric, or business card paper. Digital previews lie.
- Compare uppercase vs. lowercase usage. Zenfix lowercase has more nuance; uppercase reads stronger at distance but loses some warmth.
- Review spacing across weights. The Light and Bold behave differently—don’t assume metrics align.
- Try it beside at least three other type categories: a serif font (for editorial contrast), a neutral sans serif font (for UI or body balance), and another display font (to confirm Zenfix isn’t blending in or overcompeting).
- Confirm commercial licensing—especially if you’re bundling Zenfix into Canva templates, digital products, or client brand kits. Not all licenses cover redistribution or SaaS use.
